Traditional early variety for warm sites, that are also not sensitive to late frost. Because of the good fruit size and only medium cracking sensitivity Burlat stays as a recommended early ripening variety. During the harvest moisture and heat lead to less longer shelf-life and decreasing firmness of the fruits. Treatment of the flowers and fruits against Monilia is necessary in most years.
