Evaluation

A late ripening, self-fertile variety, which is suitable to extend the harvest period because of its very firm flesh and good storage qualities. Self-fertility and late blooming positively affect the fruit set even in years with unfavourable blooming conditions. While harvesting the highly cracking-tolerant fruits it is necessary to pay attention to the bitter flavour, which dissipates while the fruits ripen. This variety already produces fruit on one-year-old wood and needs thorough pruning of weak and hanging branches. The very healthy tree shows no susceptibility to bacterial canker until now.
