Kordia has excellent flavour and is very suitable for transport. Consistent pruning is needed when training for central leader to avoid blind wood and top-heaviness. In relation to other varieties more attention to detail with pruning is recommended. The sensitivity of the flower buds to winter and spring frost damages should be considered when choosing the right site.
