Evaluation

SWEETHEART ™ Sumtare (S) is a very late ripening, firm and well storable variety. The high fertility of this self-fertile variety has to be controlled with according pruning. Because of the strong cluster production the fruits tend to brown rot during humid conditions. A treatment of Monilia is absolutely necessary. This variety is recommended for growing in dry regions or under rain cover due to the medium to high susceptibility to cracking.
