Trees - History

Gräb Nursery evolved out of a small fruit growing business and is still closely committed to the practicing fruit growers today. The first bench graftings and rootstocks were planted in 1988. In the first years of production, the focus was on pome fruit (apples, pears). Since the demand for high quality stone fruit trees has been growingsteadily since the 1990s, the company decided to pursue current market strategy of serveing the stone fruit market segment.

On a cultivation area of more than 20 ha, sweet cherries are currently the most important crop. The range is completed by apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, sour cherries and elderberries. Our target audience exclusively consists of commercial fruit growers and nurseries that grow primarily in containers.
