Our product range

Exclusive quality for professionals

High-quality fruit trees are the basis for a successful harvest. Our range includes proven standard varieties as well as promising new breeds – optimally tailored to the requirements of professional fruit growing. Whether high-yielding sweet cherries, aromatic plums, or robust peach varieties – we offer you the right selection for your business. All our data is based on our own data from the climate zone on the Middle Rhine.

The varieties listed in the ripening tables represent our core range. We also propagate various new varieties and older standard varieties. On request, it is possible to have specially requested varieties or rootstocks grown to order.

Questions and answers about our product range

Our stone fruit range includes popular and proven varieties that have demonstrated special characteristics in our trial facility. The aroma, firmness, and storability, combined with a consistent and good yield, are the main aspects we consider when adding varieties to our range. Depending on the cultivation and location, individual varieties may vary in firmness or stability. In order to achieve a satisfactory result for the grower, we work closely with our customers and are happy to assist with variety selection based on our experience.

In our experience, planting in autumn has many advantages. The trees adapt better to their location and can start their vegetative phase more quickly in spring. In regions where autumn planting is not possible due to weather conditions and excessive rainfall, the trees should be stored professionally until spring. For our few spring deliveries, the trees are stored at our site. Therefore, our spring deliveries are completed in February or March at the latest. This is because early-flowering stone fruit varieties in particular have difficulty establishing themselves in their new location.

At our nursery, we pay close attention to ensuring that our starting material is healthy. Many of our own cuttings used for propagation are certified starting material. Our range includes both resistant and tolerant varieties. If you have an infested site or difficulties with sharka virus infestation in your region, there are still ways to continue growing successfully. In this case, we recommend seeking appropriate advice.
