Dollenseppler
Black cherry, Prunus avium
The market value of the most important distilling/industrial cherry, Dollenseppler, is high due to its versatility (distilling, juice and jam production) and suitability for machine harvesting.
Although this variety prefers warm locations for its typical aroma to develop, it is not particularly demanding in terms of location and can also be grown at higher altitudes.
