VRONI ™Wei 5276
Plum, Prunus domestica
VRONI ™ is currently the latest ripening, aromatic plum variety.
Growing this variety is very lucrative, as the plum season is extended.
Despite the very long vegetation period from the beginning of flowering to ripening, this plum novelty proves to be extremely stable even in years with very high rainfall.
The attractive, medium-sized fruits have a very long harvest period and, according to initial experience, show no tendency to neck shrivel, stone splitting or caverns.
The late ripening period requires special attention when treating against the plum moth. Additional fungicide treatments may also be necessary to avoid crop loss.
