Prunus avium ‘Alkavo’ is a uniformly growing, robust cherry rootstock, ideal for commercial sour cherry cultivation. It is frost-hardy, stable, adaptable to different soils and tree shapes, and enables sustainable yield production. Adequate irrigation is particularly important for best results.
The classification of growth rates is based on our own experience. Variations typical of the variety, soil, and location are possible.
