Nojabrskaja

Pear, Pyrus communis

Nojabrskaja is a late-ripening, very large-fruited pear variety, which is particularly suitable for fresh consumption as well as for cakes, compotes, and desserts due to its intense aroma and high sugar content.

Due to its yield, excellent storability, and very good shelf life, it is an alternative to Alexander Lukas and Conference. The tree is particularly winter-hardy, robust, and less susceptible to scab and fire blight.

The noble variety Nojabrskaja is offered as planting material in combination with an intermediate graft, as it shows signs of incompatibility when grafted directly onto quince rootstock.
